For starters, I already miss the simplicity of Web Design I. Getting started with Natours isn’t horrible, it could be worse to be honest, but there are some difficult aspects with Web Design II. So far, this seems like a review of the previous course and I am thankful for that because over the break, some of the things I learned have faintly slipped my mind.
Describe how the files are organized for the Natours project and how they are linked together.
- The files for the Natours project are separated into their own folders. I honestly like this because it makes everything so much organized and easier to find. You can see an example of this above where my completed work is listed.
Describe two interesting new pieces of CSS or CSS techniques you learned in this first set of tutorials. Include a code sample with Enlighter.
- An interesting new piece of CSS or CSS technique that I have learned in this first set of tutorials is:
clip-path. I only have one listed here because everything else I am kind of familiar with due to web design I. With
clip-path, you can create a clipping region that sets what part of an element should be shown. These elements can be known as circle, ellipse, polygon, or inset.
clip-path: inset(100px 50px); clip-path: circle(50px at 0 100px); clip-path: polygon(50% 0%, 100% 50%, 50% 100%, 0% 50%);
